Our Mission
Integrate Cumbria CIC supports the integration of migrants and refugees in Cumbria through holistic services that address basic needs, social inclusion, and economic empowerment.

Stronger Together is the community-led approach at the heart of Integrate Cumbria.
We believe refugees and migrants can thrive when they have opportunities to connect, participate, contribute and build a sense of belonging in the communities where they live.
Integration is not something people should have to navigate alone. Stronger Together brings people, communities and organisations together to create pathways towards connection, confidence, participation and independence.
Flourish Penrith

Flourish Penrith is a welcoming and inclusive community project for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers living in and around Penrith.
We provide a friendly, relaxed and safe space where people can meet others, build friendships, share experiences, access useful information, receive peer support and take part in creative activities.
Whether you are new to the area or have been living in Penrith for some time, Flourish is a place to connect with others, discover opportunities and feel part of the local community.
We aim to create spaces for self-expression, facilitate access to employment, and support trauma recovery, while promoting intercultural understanding.
Our Team
We are a team of four Directors from Brazil, Sudan, Italy and England. All of the Directors have lived experience of the UK refugee and migration sector, working in community development and volunteering. We are comprised of a social worker, a counsellor, a housewife, and an educator-project manager.
